Core string is a guitar shop that emphesises a deep connection between a person and their instrument, as a way of self expresion.
Project Description
Core string was a minor project I had done. It included making a logo and an advertising poster. I decided to have fun with the colors and shapes, in an attempt to show the spontaneous nature of music.
The Writing
The title was written in several different fonts, to represent the versatility and uniqueness of each person. YOU was written in red to connect it to the logo and the meaning of the color as explained above and to emphasize the intention to be yourself.
The subtitle was written in a font that mimics handwriting for a more authentic and personal look.
For the logo, a semi-connected script and a calligraphic concept were used to simulate the appearance of a signature and create a connection to the extensive music world of artists and bands.
Poster Backround
The store name is in red, a color that represents feelings of passion, enthusiasm, and love. To suggest the inner desire to play. The name connects to the specification that features a gradient outline of a guitar head. The graThe background is made with a gradient to give a spotlight to the guitar, like a stage performance spot, to show and present who you are through the music. The use of green is done because of the connotations of growth, peace and hope. Closeness to nature is similar to closeness to the natural and true self. In addition there are circles with changing lines to suggest the mobility of sound and frequencies.dient colors are associated with additional positive feelings such as fun, optimism, and joy.
Poster illustration
An illustration of a guitar cut in half, the “simple” side with the outlines of a guitar represents the side that is seen in a person. The abstract and colorful side represents the liberation of who the person is on the inside, as a boundary breaker. Free to bring out and show the emotions hidden within.
